Hey folks,
last one in 2020.
inspired by the works of Isaac Asimov.
I wanted to leave my comfort zone and do something hand painted.
during the Christmas hiatus I have the rare opportunity do to something just for fun, the joy of creation and no rush.
with this one I had the basic shape in my mind for a while and tried to do something unusual, avoid the usual costume shape solutions we see in cinemas and games nowadays.
retro futuristic stuff. it was tricky.

the belly was the hardest part. on the first version you can see my first attempt. I was stuck so huge thanks to Marton Gyula Kiss / @kimagu for the help. belly pice separated from the bottom and left open, smaller details added.
moodboard - first I did a collection of designs I wanted to avoid(marvel, metropolis and c3po) for the small details I collected images of old radios from the 60s USA and CCCP.
the very first fast sketch I did about a month ago.
